(http://whatdowewanttobelieve.blogspot.com/2017/06/blog-post.html) ...Do we forget what we know ...or at one time claimed to have known??  (Did we forget how to laugh ...with kindness, not to injure?)

News Flash!!
Still no evidence that Russia influenced the election.
Mounting evidence that Wicca (your friendly neighborhood witches) are openly admitting they are trying to influence the next election.

LA Times actually quoted the Bible, the words of Jesus, for their empowerment of this summer solstice insanity ...but, what would we expect, but for them to quote Scripture with no insight into what Jesus was saying. Jesus was speaking to His disciples, of which the witches may think they are a sub-group of ...but, never in my understanding of the faith would I accept that. I am a Christian ...not a Christ-shun.

Weather Report: Summer began on June 21st ...in Michigan, and it ended on June 24th.

(Further clarification:  Matthew 21:22, states, "And all things, whatsoever you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive, if you have faith." Now, Jesus was also similarly quoted in Matthew 18:19 and in John 14:13. In all of these places, Jesus was talking to His disciples, whom He chose to later empower after His resurrection and ascension. Jesus was not talking to everyone ...and certainly, I am abundantly glad I do not get everything I ask for.  And when Jesus said to His disciples that two should agree on earth ...I'd think it would 'have' to be two who'd agree, as one may be Judas. But, the verse from the Book of John says it most clearly to me, as He says that whatever we ask in His Name ...for a purpose, that He shall be glorified.)

I, in no way, feel that I have any extra authority to discern what the Bible says.

We all share the same authority of Whom we look to in the writings ...not us being the authority, but God.

It's sort of like the fine-tuning of a radio. We can have more than one station coming in at the same time, and we have to recognize which one we want to listen to ...and fine-tune, to eliminate interference.

But sometimes more than one station can be broadcasting the same thing, so our discernment may have to go further.
